We are Louisiana born and raised. That’s why we support local businesses and charities. Through our partnership with WWOZ and the New Orleans Musicians’ Clinic, we created the Sound Sleep Initiative. We provide mattresses to local musicians and other members of the New Orleans cultural community. This initiative is to help give them a much better chance at getting a good night’s sleep when they get home from a long days work.
The life of a working musician typically involves stress, late nights and irregular sleeping schedules. Lack of sleep can have serious overall health consequences. Today, the New Orleans Musicians Clinic treats and assists more than 2,500 local musicians.
In conjunction with Habitat for Humanity, when you purchase items to replace unwanted furniture in your home we connect you with the organization to have the items removed from your home and get donated to the ReStore where the proceeds from the sale of the items are used to buy materials to build houses for families in need.
When you shop locally, you support local businesses, local staff, local manufacturers and artists as well as these and other local charities.
