Description
Located at Althorp House, English home of the 9th of Earl Spencer, brother to the late Diana, Princess of Wales, this marquetry inlaid butterfly accent table features two hinged ‘wing’ panels that open to reveal the painted Spencer crest. Its top is inlaid with morado, burl, and amboyna wood and sits on a ring and baluster-turned column with delicate down swept, tapering legs and peg feet. Part of the Althorp Portfolio, this masterpiece collection of favorite works of art commissioned or gifted to the Spencer family for the past 500 years, allow us to share in the magnificent history of British Empire.
